Hope those responsible are brought to trial

Nothing will bring those who died back and I'd imagine there will be people who will be scared for life after this but I totally agree that those responsible are brought to account!

Questions still remain about the cause of the Stardust fire on Valentines night in 1981 in which 48 people lost their lives.

I still remember the Stardust tragedy back in 1981 and, while I didn't know anyone that died in the fire, I did know people that did.
I have seen several documentaries on the events of that night, and find it a disgrace that nobody has still been held to account for
something that should, and could, have been avoided. Unfortunately, too many clubs and pubs put profit before public safety.

It is terrible to see tragedies like what occurred in Bucharest. You would think that business people would learn from the mistakes of the past. R.I.P.

I don't think that's fair,A lot of people will have seen the thread and felt as most of us did,they would have nothing more to add than repeat what was already said,I don't think it's a great Idea to give people a chance to turn a thread of this nature into anything other than the original intention anyway with such a post.

I thought hard before I wrote it...but the truth is, its lacking in the amount of replies/interest this sort of topic would usually attract.
Just curious why
I know places further afield than say Hillsborough or Artane will tend to be seen as very distant by many people (not just those here).
Im hoping its not anything more specific ,that's all

Was just an observation , not a statement of fact
Sometimes you have no problem with being told you are wrong/you are talking nonsense
Would love to be made look like a fool in this instance
