Temporarily put a sponge under the drip to kill the maddening drum roll.

Your tap needs a new washer. Cost you a couple of euros at most. It's a 10 min fix.
You'll need a phillips head screwdriver. a flathead screwdriver and an adjustable spanner or vice grips to replace the washer. It's very simple.

If its as bad as you say, I usually replace the whole tap insert, not just the washer.
My wife caught me wearing ladies underwear and threatened to leave me.
So I packed up all her clothes
    And left.

All you need is your landlords no

In the meantime put a face cloth or tea towel over the tap and it will get rid of the noise

to be able to follow some basic instructions? Yes I do.
I can sew on a replacement button, bake an excellent chocolate fondant and make pastry, and I've hands like shovels. No strength needed in replacing a tap washer or innards.
