Default Inhomanity to man and wo-man

It is considered humane to put down animals that are badly injured, and would have little chance of survival.

It is never humane to facilitate a human or huwoman to end their life.

The reason for this is because their IS a GOD, who loves us.

On the contrary, we know that animals do not have a God

and animals are for mans pleasure.

to shoot, kill, maim, or eat.

I have heard it said that soldiers in the Great War to end all wars, (which it did?), often shot their badly injured comrades, to ease their suffering. instead of leaving them to die on their own.
It is a fact of life that we will all die on our own.

No one can help us through the pearly gates, and we can not be accompanied there.

What we do know is that some of us will not get through those gates.

We must maintain our faith, in this land of Saints, and arse hole scholars

Some arse holes want to criminalise us, because we indulge in the greatest gift that God has given us

and that is intercourse between men and women, whether sexual or not

and for some,,,,,, same sex relationships

and for others, celibacy, which, personally was for me until the age of 22, when I was led astray by the pleasures of the flesh.

If you have a terminal illness with severe intractable pain, and are" compos mentis", then euthanasia should be a possibility, with the agreement of a panel of medical specialists /psychologists.

I was raised as a catholic. I still remember all those novenas I attended as a kid and the joyful crowd hysteria.

It's not nice to think back to a time when I would have condemned others for not being good Christians, whatever that means. The thing that sticks out most to me in that blind faith mentality is the lack of compassion, which is what I think is the issue here. Compassion and respect for the dignity of others.

You come into this world alone and you leave it alone.
I think bollocks was trying to highlight how religion is the main motivator in popular opinion when it comes to a stance on euthanasia.

Why do you think it should not be legal IDF?

But I think it should be illegal, sorry if I was not clear on that.

But my point is it happens everyday anyway even in this very religious country.
I think the bollock will often take the point of view opposite to what he believes in an effort to highlight its flaws. At least that's what I keep seeing :/

What is your objection to euthanasia? If you don't mind me being nosey.

Never mind religion, basic humanity and compassion indicates euthanasia for people or animals that are suffering a terminal illness with no hope of recovery or cure.

I have promised members of my family that if they are heading towards a vegative state, double incontinance, in pain, etc. that I will bring them to Dignitas in Switzerland to allow them perform assisted suicide.

Might sound cold and callous, but to me it's an act of love.
