    Question D and DDR .

    25 years ago today the two Germanies united , to do away with the German Socialist Republic ..

    On October 3rd , 1990 , DDR ceased to exist , 'WALL' came down , allowing free movement of all citizens ...

    A monumental event that precipitated entirely where we are today, ref Europe, migrants etc.

    I was there, not in 90, but before and witnessed first hand, the towers, the guards etc.
    Berlin was a lively place in those days
