New EOTM Rules — Are they fair, are they good?

I don't think it is fair to change the rules just one day before you announce EOTM
I think the old rules are more genuine

If the rules were changed during September and announced properly, I would have said okay, but to pull this rules up in order to give another escort the title, is totally unfair.

The sticky is there with the ''old'' rules, therefore those should have been applied.

Now they made up different ones, those should apply for the next eotm.

By every review counts as a point opens the competition to a huge abuse.

Also, Sam didn't accept reviews from hidden ip, fair enough but not to accept reviews from a foreign ip is ridiculous.

Let's see. I meet a French guy tonight, he flies back to France tomorrow and decides to review me. Wouldn't that be legit?

I still wonder why they are screwing Larissa over. Maybe because she is not Irish ( sorry for playing the nationality card here).. Not fair, she worked it hard, she is nice and popular on here.

If the new rules posted earlier are implemented the potential for abuse of the review system will render it totally useless! There are a lot of threads as it is where people aren't happy — well the new rules would open the flood gates on that!

I hadn't thought about the IP issue you mention! My biggest concern was that it only allowed for UK IP addresses to submit a review as all others would be deleted. SmileySarah insisted to me that as I lived it the Republic of Ireland I needn't worry as UK IP addresses would work I got the impression she thought that Leinster, Munster and Connacht were in the UK along with Ulster!

To change the rules one day before the result is announced is bad! For new rules to be posted 2 days after the competition closes is even worse — especially as the Official Rules are still in place in the sticky!

Then to compound matters the fact that the new rules will turn the competition into a free for all fiasco where anyone can register and submit a review and it will count towards the competition winner is unthinkable! Where is the logic in that?
