Brothel Keeping is an offence in Ireland under section 11 of the Criminal Law
(Sexual Offences) Act, 1993.

Brothel keeping - Section 11

A person who keeps or manages or acts or assists in the management of a brothel.

or

Being the tenant, lessee, occupier or person in charge of a premises, knowingly
permits such premises or any part thereof to be used as a brothel or for the
purposes of habitual prostitution.

OK, It is an offense to assist in the running of a brothel. Someone answering the phone and taking bookings would be deemed to be "assisting".

But if there is only one girl working there then it is not a brothel under Irish law. By that then surely a person answering the phone and taking bookings would not be "assisting" in the running of a brothel?
