Default Six in ten Northern Ireland babies are now born outside wedlock. So what? Who cares?

Following on from the people who cannot differentiate between ”escorting” and “trafficking”, the Belfast Telegraph, in a piece unworthy of the paper [I know it is just a piece of “journalism”,] where the writer seems not to be able to differentiate between “promiscuity” and “unmarried” and the entire piece seems so 1960’s

Far too much religion in NI, church of this and church of that on every corner, bigotry and intolerance abound.
and to think of the biblical shit that they would like to do, if they thought that the'd get away with it. At least in the republic (were not perfect) but we are well on our way to getting rid of the parasites.

On the plus side the divorce rate is very low. And homosexuality is non-existent.

That guy McIlveen is a disgrace! He comes across as a nice, soft spoken minister, but his views are from the 1860's, not the 1960's - totally unchristian. He believes that gays are destined for hell, and has closed minded reactionary views on just about everything.

The BBC and others wheel him out any time they want a predictable "traditional Christian" voice in a debate. I took him on in a radio debate a few years ago (I'll not say the subject in case it makes me Googleable!) and it was like nailing jelly to a tree.

Nope, he's actually very Christian. He's espousing a world view he learned from the new testament.

That is very Christian of him.The real fundamentalists would espouse Old Testament views.Far less charitable and forgiving.
