Interesting as well will be how it is to be administered i.e will the discrete option of an on the spot fine be available or will as I fear may transpire a string of public humiliations of punters be the order of the day. All in all a bad day for the Republic and a good day for the parasitic NGO's who have championed this cause encouraged by Blue Shirt Fitzgerald.
The law regarding brothels has always stated more than one is a brothel...nd ladies have been convicted for pimping each other when sharing no change there...

I'm loving the prostitute is different form a person lol...

    Says clearly paying any person

However method of payment for sex is not clarifyed

So in fact one could argue buying a girl drink and getting her Hanmered as a method of payment
Also a new directive by our justice minister is did you give consent...Consent is only valid if person is of sound mind so don't get her too hammered

Drinking with a hooker will be like rape I guess then

States any other form of remuneration or consideration while that could include drink more likely it refers to gifts e.g. expensive perfume or sex toys. This consent thing is taken to extremes at this stage very soon we will be back to a situation not uncommon in this country in the past that all sex should be solely for the purposes of procreation.

This was the very point made by an English commentator about the the adsurdity of the Northern Law. Technically, buy someone a drink or a meal and then have sex with them is now an offence.

It would be probably better not to pay the girl, then you'd be only done with petty theft.
    No sex offender register.

On a serious note, there must be a way of not paying an escort but obviously paying her off side

Any law designed to regulate what consenting adults do in private is unavoidably going to turn up absurdities.

The only way we will know how the law is interpreted is when we start to see case law. The general case law at the moment seems to be that what consenting adults do in private is their business as long as they do not permanently injure themselves. But of course, this bill drives a coach and four through the whole concept of consent.
