Default Would a "Unlike* button be popular?

So Facebook is adding an unlike button, would that be popular on here? Or just fan the flames?

It would be impossible to "unlike" some people anyway because the unlike would be deleted.

Seriously, it would be a bad idea.
Enough fights here as it is.

Just add the posters you don't like to your 'ignore list' then their posts are not visible to you, unless you choose the option you are given to read their post.

Just ignore them, who needs technology.

Strictly speaking, "unlike" button may be "popular" but like many popular things, a very bad idea. It is one thing to "unlike" an idea or a thing, but here it is likely to be used to "unlike" people.

Strange as it seems, I don't have any I don't like

It could work on a site like this. Everyone knows who likes who around here anyway. The "thanks" button gets abused to gain favor by certain posters. If your don't agree with what someone says but don't feel passionately about it, a simple click of the "unlike" button will circumvent a possibly bitchy reply and inevitable argument.
I know it will get abused by some posters to show their disdain for others, but these posters will be shown up for the fools they are.

It works well on several other platforms with the "thumbs up" and "thumbs down" feature. If anything it will weed out the adolescence posters from what's supposedly an Adult only site.

It's worth a trial in my opinion
