Lack of quality in Cork

Has anyone noticed the general lack of quality in Cork recently? I know there's one or two exceptions but in general it just seems to be a plethora of either old overweight ones, all favs offered ones (dodgy) or ones with no reviews. Now I can understand that Dublin has more people but taking into account the huge rent difference between cork and Dublin and the lack of quality down here I hereby call on some of you fine as girls in Dublin to take a chance on Cork. It's like Dublin but more compact and practical.
