    Default A syrian refugee

Was standing outside terminal 2 at Dublin Airport when I noticed a Syrian refugee, suddenly with a puff of smoke a leprechaun appears and asks the refugee welcome and what can I do for you.Im hungry he replied and whosh a five course meal appears, anything else says the leprechaun ?a nice house with a garden, whosh he's transported to a big mansion in the countryside.anything else says the leprechaun ? wealth
and good health, whosh a medical card and dole card appears in his hand. Now one last wish you can have say's the leprechaun, the refugee replied I'd like to become Irish.whosh and a big puff of smoke the refugee lands back outside terminal 2? I don't understand say's the refugee. The leprechaun replies now that your granted Irish citizenship your entitled to fuck all

In my opinion these people are genuine refugees unlike many of the others that came here over the years.
They should not be punished because of the fake asylum seekers that got through before and should be treated fairly and humanly.
People so quickly judge and forget but we were an island at war and had things gone different maybe Irish people would have been in a similar situation.
Would we like to have seen our families, parents scrambling for food like animals ?
I don't begrudge them a thing (the genuine asylum seekers that is)

Its sickening to see families torn apart and children dying and governments are slow to help out fellow human beings but when its comes to defense and upgrading their war chest and going to war, money is not a problem then

Leaving Ireland was the most 'Irish' thing I've ever done. It's a historical and cultural tradition to leave Ireland, as Irish as Guinness and 'havin' the craic'. They truly want to be Irish? Let them stay, and then they'll leave again for those highly touted 'greener pastures' elsewhere.
