Default Lord Montague and the Flying Lady

Lord Montague died recently; he was the founder of the (UK) national car museum.

His father was also keen on motors, and was secretary of the Royal Automobile Club. This lord had a secretary who soon became his mistress. She, Eleanor Thornton, was the model for the sculpture, the figurine known as the Flying Lady, the Spirit of Ecstasy.

So, anytime you see some plutocrat in his Rolls-Royce, remember that he is advertising milord's mistress.
