    F**king brilliant stuff.

I always wanted to be Clint Eastwood.

But as I got older I thought I was Lee Van Cleef.

But now I know most of my life I have always been Gian Maria Volontι.

i used to watch "cowboy" films with my grandad when i was a kid.

i always loved charles bronson. once upon a time in the west is a savage bit of film.

if you havent seen it i suggest it.

this is the song my body is a cage by arcade fire set to clips from once upon a time in the west. dont watch it if you havent seen it though

Sheer brilliance from Sergio Leone — especially when you take it is a 50 year old film that was short on an extremely tight budget! Ennis Morricone's music really makes it!

Loved them films but to me Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Highway in Heartbreak Ridge was Eastwoods best performance. Can you do the needful Willy, I am on mobile.

I could not disagree with you more, Gran Torino for me.

    Please let me explain.

It reminds me on so many levels like John Wayne's last film The Shootist.

A deeply personal film that reflects on the whole mortality of the actor and the subject matter.

When I watched Gran Torino I felt & kept thinking about the Shootist.

Because I knew it would be the last film I would see from a great actor and in some ways a goodbye.

Maybe not his best film but his most personal.
