    Default even more interesting.

    we are now the fastest growing economy in the EU and our house prices are rising fastest again but wait..........they will decline sharply in 2016 (probably after the election) and 2017. That sounds like a bit of our past to me. A past most people would rather not happen again. a boom followed by a crash.

    Economies go in cycles , up and down, Irish no different.
    Ireland and its banks are unlikely to see access to the crazy money of 10 years ago that allowed Irish developers to pay 5 times over the odds for property /sites here and in other places.

    they dont need access to the crazy money of 10 years ago. A third of it will do.
