    Not for adrenaline junkies.

    I had a similar thought..but there has always been a slight risk in Egypt, it has had an occasional attack on tourists in the past.
    Probably safer for Westerners now with the military back in control rather than if the Muslim Brotherhood was still in power.The military in Egypt likes its money and the tourist dollar.No place in the Muslim world will ever be completely safe for westerners , for some time to come but there are relative degrees of danger , I guess.

    Depends where you go and with whom.
    When the 2 spring risings broke out in January one year after an other we were out there both times.
    I have been in the Sinai desert trekking with the Bedouins, great people
