    Default Ruhama wins big again.

The good sisters have had a windfall. A hard working Hungarian brothel keeper has been ordered to pay them €10k.
Described as 'second mother' and 'a friend' by some of the escorts also detained by Gardaí. Gardaí also said that there was absolutely no evidence of coercion or trafficking involved in the operation.

I think Ruhama themselves should be audited - how many women "affected by prostitution" are they currently engaged in helping and how do they spend all their donations?

Indeed there are many ways to 'profit from prostitution' :-(

Ruhama certainly have their own 'pimping' operation well and truly established - get the gardai to call into a 'suspected trafficking hub' - let the brothel keeper go to court - collect the windfall . Kerchingggg!!

They are in fact the pimp of pimps!!!! They profit from prostitution better than the prostitutes themselves and yet they can't arrange to meet a sex worker asking for help in a location that they can get to when they are low on funds. Kind of sad really. Those admin costs are crippling!

There have been 2 cases of trafficking reported on the news up north in recent weeks. But they were agricultural workers- my guess is that thats more common

At least this money is going to a good cause. 10% of Sarah Benson's salary to be precise. It won't dent her expense account though.
    2014 in Northern Ireland:

Number of reported attacks on sex workers 70

Number of sex trafficking cases ZERO

Sarah Benson is a bit of a babe, IMO.

Hope the money and s well spent on knitting courses and "healing with Angels" therapy for the 10s of women they support.

Interestingly enough more and more international bodies are taking note of theses shenanigans.... One study notes the definition of trafficking need refinement. Another notes Ireland poor human rights record when it comes to women...I smell a general election with hints of peer pressure.
What if "It's Raining Men" and 'Let the bodies hit the floor' are both about the same event but from different perspectives 🤔

    Hi kate.
Correct me if i wrong but as far as i know Ruhama is funded big time by the government and so the irish taxpayer and yet they can't help those who throughly need their help. They should STOP interfering whit the decent and consenting people involved in the escorting business and go after trafficking and voilanc to wemen only.
