I advertise on that other site, in fact I started working using that site, so not all advertisers on the other site are scammers. You will find scammers on all sites.
By all means pass the information on so others don't get scammed, but don't blame the directory unless you have informed that directory and they willingly ignored you. They are actually very good at responding to people that complain.
