Which one are you thinking of? I use most of the ones that Independent Escorts can use and I've not seen any increase like this at all. I've just checked AW and there is nothing. Vivastreet has one male advertising and nothing on backpage for Dundalk. Nothing on the site that can not be mentioned either.

I'd say their sums went something like this, Site A had 1 lady, now has 2 so that's a 50% increase, Site B had 2 and now there's 3 so that's a 33% increase, add the 2 which makes it 83% and lets round it off to 85%

The numbers thrown around regarding sex work are often an insult to the intelligence. As such it becomes a moral panic, obscuring the people who genuinely require help with the majority who don't. The only ones benefitting from the deliberate lies of TORL, Ruhama etc are the organisations themselves. This issue needs to be looked at realistically and without prejudice. In Britain this has already been done and the failed Swedish model rejected. Don't expect Ireland to demonstrate such common sense though.
