    Hi. I'll visit Ireland very soon, august. Before to go, I'm curious of how do you (irish people) imagine french people ? A lot of clichés I guess but it s a free talk

    There's good and bad everywhere. Some girls will love the accent. Enjoy your stay. By the way your English is alright.

    I find French people an arrogant bunch , especially if your Parisian .

    French do not like English speakers asking /insisting if they speak English.
    Try some schoolboy French on them, many of the younger ones will then even respond in English to you .
    French arrogance tends to be overblown by English speakers , who may themselves appear arrogant to the French.
