I remember when this rape was first reported, it was during the big all Ireland brothel raid three years ago. Over 100 premises raided and not one trafficking victim found.

There should be a holy stink kicked up over this.

As we know, those caring folk in TORL and Ruhama read these boards and no doubt they will now be pressuring Frances Fitzgerald to decriminalise sex workers working together. That should not only prevent this type of incident happening again, but would allow the minister to fulfill her (so far bullshit) promise of decriminalising sex workers.

It really underscores one reality which will come to pass with the new anti sex worker laws which is no pig or none of the great and the good will suffer any real sanction at all for punting!
BTW one of the main reasons that prostitution was effectively legalised in parts of Australia was because having it illegal led to police corruption!
