    From where I'm from, we call these teacakes and will always know it as teacakes.

    I would call them bread rolls myself. Almost like burger buns but not quite the same.

    I am majorly confused... i have known teacakes and hotcross buns to be named the same... teacakes where i am from are chocolate and what you have just posted is a bread bun???
