Thread: Possible scam experience

  1. Default Possible scam experience

I'm not sure if this was a scam or a big misunderstanding on my part, I hope it's over but as I think I got off lightly (if it was a scam). I was hoping for some advice from the more experienced.

I'll start by saying I am new to this, and today despite several warning signs I was too horny to care. I was instructed by an escort to call her when I reached a landmark, and there I noticed a suspicious fellow with a bag, messing with his phone whilst facing a suspicious looking alley. She instructed me to enter the alley and keep her on the line, which I did, up till a point where she said okay, and I noticed an open door to my left. So in my innocence I walked in and there was no one there. Up the stairs and I see a woman who is clearly not her, who probably lives there and I dart down the stairs and out, but too late. She runs after me and demands to know what I was doing in her home. She yells for her husband who was conveniently gardening outside (and could have easily yelled at me when I went into his home but he didn't), and they both took turns demanding to know what I was doing there.

In my head I thought, oh shit, here's where I pay up, but they never asked for money. Just repeated demands to know what I was doing there, with the lady constantly saying she's seen me there before and that she'll call the guards. I apologised, explained I was lost and was looking for a friend but they didn't care. I finally just said I'll get out of their way now and made my way out of there. This whole scenario was witnessed, of course, by the fellow messing with his phone at the entrance to the alley, and I thought I saw him smile as I walked past on my way out.

As far as scams go, I think I got off lightly as I was not physically hurt nor lost any belongings. Everything was so perfect that it had to be a scam, I think, but how do they benefit if they won't ask for money from me? What is the role of the guy at the entrance to the alley? I want to put this experience behind me, but I can't help feeling I'm missing something, that the guy could have been recording this to claim lost property from the guards/insurance perhaps? I just don't want to end up a wanted man with my picture all over as a burglar.

And yeah I was pretty stupid throughout no need to remind me . Thanks for input!

a lot of blue doors in waterford look the same, chalk it down as a bad experience and move on
Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

    hi nobodynew
did she not give you a door number ???

Nope. No clear directions. Not even a clear time when asked, she just says she works 24 hours.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I feel a bit better now if I can just put it behind me.

Seriously... I do despair!! In all honesty it is clients like you that get girls kicked out of their accommodation. If you go into a total strangers house and walk up their stairs, of course they are going to want to know what the hell you are doing and why you are there. Why didn't you stay outside and ask where to go instead of making assumptions? You can't afford to assume in this game, as discretion is paramount. God help you if the law changes over there.
