saw it on Tuesday night - very good and gritty

Colin Farrell is a lunatic cop on the edge as are all the cops in this drama..

I agree,it was a slow start but I think this season will be superb.

I'm a bit behind the times, I like to buy the box set/CD etc from a shop, at a push I'll order them from Amazon or somewhere, but all that streaming stuff kind of passes me by.

Normally I dont know about or get into a series till the 2nd or third & I'm playting catch up.
But the first True dectective has 2 actors I really like so made a point of watching it as didnt want spoilers on facebook lol
I was gutted when I first knew they werent in the 2nd series but then realised its a brilliant idea & the series will have longevity because firstly its brilliant writing & secondly fresh cast every season. Big names too. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I think this is going to be one of those slow-burners where the story gathers pace as it goes on.

Having said that; the end of episode 2.......WTF!!!

schuuuusssh, just starting ep 2 now, first one I was thinking, well, where is the body(s)??
Man love for colin Farrell though, think he is a great actor, destined for more.
Anyone remember him from Ballykiss angel? who knew then he would go on and become this big star??
