    Lightbulb Legit or dodgy websites?

    Hey everyone,
I've just came across a website called DIYtrade.com, I don't know if this website is legit because I'm useless with that kind of thing, it sells replica electronics eg phones and gadgets and that, payment is either western union, bank transfer or money gram, has anyone ever ordered off one of these Chinese replica sites before & are they safe?
    Any advice would be great!

Advice: don't buy anything over the internet that is not paid for by credit card. I mean "credit card" not even a debit card.
With a credit card you have some legal protection, and a way of tracing where your money went.
With western union, bank transfer or money gram, (and paypal) you have no protection at all.

    Hey! YoungIrishgirl,

SteveB on "Credit Card" you have some Legal Protection, True

On contacting sites like you mention, Three things to remember,
1.Some sites set up to get Personal Details of People,
    2. Get Email addresses for Resale value,
    3. To get Addresses you supply for Delivery. A persons Address is also has a Resale Value, often used by Individuals who are on the Run or Trying to find a place to hide something Illegal.
    So Girl. My suggestion "Avoid"

Id avoid, besides replica electronics are going to be rubbish anyway, don't waste your money. Its better to pay more for something that you know is going to work properly

you buy cheap you buy twice, isnt that what you say yourself.

even if it is a cheap replica from china or taiwan, it still has to get past customs.

money sent by western union means you have no guarentee , wu doesn't do refunds . Only use WU to family .
