You could lose weight with 6 glasses of red wine per day at 250 ml per glass. No food allowed though, unless you like celery?

Best you could do if insisting on guzzling the wine would be
    - small portion of porridge for breakfast
    - lots of salad with chicken or turkey for lunch
    - tin of salmon or more chicken/turkey for evening meal with more salad
by salad I mean lots of green like lettuce or spinnage, some tomatoes, no dressings
throw in small amount of nuts here and there
    - replace above with lean red meat and brown rice a few times a week

if you are fat you should drop maybe the most of a stone in 5 weeks presuming at the moment your diet isn't clean and you are eating bread, potatoes, take aways chips.

Seriously there are 190 calories in each 250 ml glass of red wine. You could probably have one a day and still have a healthy diet, but you would need to be consuming around 1200 to 1500 calories per day depending on your height etc, so the more you drink, the less you can eat. 4 glasses of red = 760 calories
