So Johnny Depp seems to be in deep shit at the moment and could face 10 years in prison for taking his 2 Yorkshire Terriers to Australia illegally and his pilot could spend up to 2 years in prison for his role in the situation.

What do you think about it?

I think Johnny Depp will get away with it, but will have to pay a fine.
The pilot, I think will do time just because he isn't a celebrity.

Knowing the Auz governments stance on illegal imports of food & animals they have it in their power to order the two dogs to be put down and fine the owner as well.

As for the pilot of the plane many celebs consider themselves above the law and if the pilot refused to fly the plane because of the animals being on board how long would he have his job for and would he be blacklisted in the future because of the influence of powerful people but unreasonable people?

He broke the law, it's no secret that Australia has very strict bounder laws & conditions, it's not as if he wasn't aware of the conditions & any fully fledged pilot would also have knowledge of the countries conditions.

I feel sorry for the pilot since he probably had no choice but to fly the dogs into Oz and will now pay the biggest price.
Depp being a Ceb will more or less get away with it , a fine ain,t gonna hurt him much.

If he has committed an offence under Australian Law then he should be punished even if that means jail time.

Just because he is a celebrity doesn't mean he should get away with the offence if he has committed it.
