A lot of clients assumed it was illegal years ago. Maurice Wilberforce and the Magdalenes are just playing catch-up.
    2014 in Northern Ireland:

Number of reported attacks on sex workers 70

Number of sex trafficking cases ZERO

So where are you going to run to when the law goes to the South? Are you seriously telling me that all the guys are going to get a plane to England for some fun?

We're all buying shares in Ryanair;-)
Some of the more worried ones (especially those in relationships/married ) may just stop.

Your signature relating the number of attacks on sex workers paradoxically supports the case for criminalising clients.

Or supports the idea of legalising/regularising sex workers , who might then feel more free to approach police with problems.

It's the not clients that do the pimping/trafficking or coercing. It is not the clients that attack sex workers, it's nutters who think they can get away with it due to the stigma and arse holes who have no respect for anyone and usually cowards who rely on the stigma that the sex worker won't report the crime. Criminalising will only make this worse.

If there are no clients, then no escorts then no trafficking pimping or other associated crime.

That is a big 'if' and do you think that is likely to happen bearing in mind how many sex workers there are working in Sweden at the moment?
