Yes........If we accept 272 genuine cases (no problem with that) ,can we send back 272 of the ones who shouldn't be here?

You could probably find a few Irish born to go with them if you thought about it.

I know its harsh most people agree these will be a burden on the state, they are uneducated and we already cant cope with what we have and will it stop at 272, where do you draw the line,

Erm, I have a friend who works as a migration lawyer who gets cases of people who are gay or from a demonised religious group who would be murdered if they stepped back onto the soil of their origin country. I think Ireland can afford to take them as many still get deported back :-/

I think what's bad is kids "celebrating" their 10th birthday in direct provision and so are forced to rely on the state cause they aren't allowed to work.

If it gets done (as hinted at) by population size,i cant see Britain being happy with/agreeing to 3600.

The slate should be wiped clean with for those people.
IF they're here 10 years and have caused no trouble , give them residency. The children are Irish by now anyway. When they reach university age they have to pay non- EU rates which means no university for them. And decide on any future asylum cases more quickly.

    Couldn't start such a thread.
I'd have to put myself top of the list.

We shouldn't take that amount, it is a lot for a country that is struggling to get back on its feet
