    The cuckoo.

In April , come he will,

In May, he sings all day,

In June, he changes his tune,

And In July he flies away.

Top of the morning to you
and the rest of the day to yourself

    And

It is often that a person's mouth
    broke his nose.

    Getting rarer across the country.
Intensive farming practices leading to reduced numbers of the small birds cuckoos need for their eggs not helping.
Connaught , West of the Shannon is supposed to still be a stronghold for them.

My own home-grown vegetables have seen great growth these last few weeks since the heavy rain started.

As a result... I don't tend to mind seeing rain bucketing down these days.
