It probably varies a lot! There are probably a higher percentage of sex workers who are lesbians than in the general population because, having no interest in men for sexual needs, they would find it easier to make the difficult disassociation that female sex workers have to make, i.e. decoupling sexual activity from feelings of intimacy, which is vastly easier for most men than women!
Also the one big difference between men and women psychologically is that a woman is much more likely to socially conform than a man. In The BMW area of Ireland where I was a teenager in the 1980s, real fourth world stuff, where Stallinist type religious loons held sway, for women the major social dynamic was to keep their knickers on with a chastity belt, so 90% of them would obey and when I was in University, a cosmopolitan urban sophisticate among rednecks, I began to wonder really seriously, did women have a sexual side at all!
