As a single guy I don't particularly want to be married, I like my freedom etc. That is not to say I would not like a woman in my life — we all need to feel loved at some point and it can be comforting to know someone wants to be with you. It is getting the balance right that is the hard bit!

You know even though i have said in previous posts that i'm happy been single at the moment deep down i think i was kidding myself. Even though i really enjoy my times with the ladies here i feel as i'm nearing 40 i would now like nothing more than to find that someone special and settle down and eventually have kids. But by settling down i don't mean marriage as i'm not a big believer in marriage never have been it diffinelty doesn't qauratee happiness. And i've seen plenty of evidence of that in my locality alone that convinces me of that. A scary amount of marriage breakup's and some only lasting a very short time so that convinces me more that marriage isn't for me.

Funny maybe it's an age thing as I'm a similar age and been thinking along the same lines.
