Saw 2 movies over the holidays....

Interstellar is a great idea for a movie but it is riddled with plot holes which ultimately overwhelm it. Having said that I did enjoy it, particularly the robots.

On the other hand I saw Fast & Furious 7 at the weekend.

Perfect Friday night movie: pretty much nothing but action from beginning to end. If you need to de-stress at the end of this week go see it. Just sit back and unplug your brain for a couple of hours. Bliss

And be prepared to cry like a baby at what was IMO a brilliant tribute to Paul Walker at the end,Hollywood usually adds extra cheese but in this case I thought it was really well done!

That was perfect wasn't it?

I was wondering how they would deal with Paul Walkers death without putting a downer on the whole movie but they really couldn't have done it any better. Pure class.

Training Day: Denzel at his best. Such a strong character in an excellent movie.

He is excellent in American Gangster & Flight too, hard to remember a bad film or performance with him.
