Default Saw 2 movies over the holidays....

... Interstellar with Mathew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine... & Prisoners with Hugh Jackman & Jake Gyllenhaal.

Interstellar... I just don't know. 4.5 stars out of 5. It was... average to maybe even bad. What the fuck were such big names doing in a movie that just confuses, with terrible script, unimaginative technology and silly screenplay. Visually entertaining... I suppose, but.... Nah...

Prisoners... Brilliant. Jake Gyllenhaal was excellent as was Jackman. This is a DVD to watch out for. Thrilling and riveting right up to the end. Naturally acted and well done. Really enjoyed this one...

    Any you peeps see these?

Interstellar is a great idea for a movie but it is riddled with plot holes which ultimately overwhelm it. Having said that I did enjoy it, particularly the robots.

On the other hand I saw Fast & Furious 7 at the weekend.

Perfect Friday night movie: pretty much nothing but action from beginning to end. If you need to de-stress at the end of this week go see it. Just sit back and unplug your brain for a couple of hours. Bliss
