It depends on if the person wanting the 2nd chance has really made a change or not. Isn't there a saying like, 'fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me? Or something like that?
In life people generally deserve a second chance, I think. However on here, there are no second chances

For certain crimes maybe but only if they are truely remorseful.
1st deg murder, hardcore rape, child rape and the like. not a hope.
They never own up to their crimes and can never be trusted again
