Something similar happened to me once and I hung around for at least an hour or more, only to be told she couldnt see me. That escort is quite active on these boards, but I never commented, but should have.

Very unfair IMO

I can understand that as she has a client already with her and she is guaranteed an other hours work that she would consider accepting him for another hour.

But he obviously only booked for 1 hour, the fact that he changed his mind at a later point — after she had accepted your booking — if she was to be fair to both parties then she should have told the first client that she couldn't see him for a second hour. She had a already taken a booking after his.

That is double booking! It goes on as we all know just as many clients can be time wasters. Neither is good!

It's unacceptable & it's something I wouldn't do, but all escorts work differently. I've had guys ask if they can stay longer & I have declined if I have an appointment after them. I accept the risk that my next client might be a timewaster, but my work ethos is that if a guy has booked an appointment & confirmed, then I should have the decency to honour my side of the agreement & be ready at the agreed time.

That IMO is the correct way to conduct business Sandy.

Basically, asking to extend a booking is the same as requesting a new booking at the last minute - while you may be lucky and get one the chances are that you have left it to late. The best way to secure a booking is to book in advance. If I asked to extend a booking and was told that the lady already had another booking arranged I would totally understand and be happy that I managed to get at least one hour of her time.
