Probably because of media sensationalism! As soon as people see the words "Judges" and "Porn" in the same sentence they leap to read it. "Booking a holiday" just does not have the same sensationalism factor unfortunately.

how the hell does anybody watch porn at work these days...i cant! surely any business or company that have even a relatively small computer network would have software installed to block porn, gaming etc..??

Well if that was the case why mention the porn? Im fairly sure as ive already said if it was used to book a holiday etc at the most it would be a reprimand and most likely no action atall

I was referring to why they would mention porn in the media — not that it was a good reason to sack someone for viewing it on the offical IT equipment.

Three UK judges have been sacked and a fourth has resigned after being caught watching porn on, offical IT equipment,
there was no allegation that it was anything other than regular porn. What are ure views on this? They were doing nothing illegal other than using work equipment, but i daresay if they were online shopping or booking a holiday
they wouldnt have been fired for it. Is it a bit hypocritical to take the action they did
