Default Irish phone / network question

    Hi lads and ladies

Could you please advise on a phone for Ireland. What's the best/realiable network in Dublin? Where can I buy a phone/sim card from? Can I buy a irish sim card and put it in my already unlocked phone?

    Thank you

Vodafone probably the most reliable and best all round coverage but O2 not bad and good deal with them at present,( Freedom Talk ) depends on your location really too
Usually have to buy top up now with most new sim cards unless you purchase online which maybe not such as good idea, will work in any unlocked phone

Thank you, I will look on vodaphone online and see how to get a sim card

  7. Default re sim cards

If u know a friend with O2 I think u can get a sim card for free but they are only 5euro..
An u can get free calls an txt's an some megabytes for 30p.m.
Or Vodafone give free iPhones for 12month contracts..
Most networks fo that tho..hope that helps

The Big Shop with the letter VODAFONE written over the front door isn't bad for phones!

Never had a problem with a Tesco phone. A UK,obviously independent lady, ought to have no problems.

I have staff phones with Tescomobile which are O2 and no problems.
EMobile offer good value for high usage and again no problems.

The only provider I ever had issues with were Vodafone and they are by far the most expensive.

I know a lot of people who are very suspicious when they see an 089 number — I see all sorts of numbers in work but the higher percentage of tyre kickers seem to use 089 numbers!
