Safest places are in appartments or hotel rooms, no problems here.

Dangerous places are outdoors such as Benburb street, these are the horror story places.

You might meet the Gardaì in the appartments, but they are usually in plain clothes, walking around with a cheap mobile to their ear, saying things like " 2nd floor, apartment 5, okay see you in a minute".

a tiny percentage of spots would be monitored by Gardai i would say. Do the risk analysis yourself. and ffs there are no outdoor spots really any more as far as i have observed. Although i dont go to benburb street.

I usually punt in Ladbrokes, sometimes in Boyle Sports and have always found them fairly safe.

They both have plenty of shops all over the country.
