Plain packaging isn't going to stop people smoking, it will just confuse the poor shopkeepers selling them.

Will plain packets help to discourage teens from starting to smoke? I can remember seeing
the Benson's box as a child and thinking it resembled a gold bar. The packaging made the
dangerous product appear sophisticated.
