They are not there to help you. Only to f**k you over, full stop. Don't feel that you have to put your side/story across, that's how they get you.

I'm glad that somebody's putting some thought into it. While it does make life considerably harder the problems aren't insurmountable. I think more thought and planning will have to go into meetings and almost certainly in my case there will be fewer meetings. There is no shortage of means of communication these days and with a small effort people should be able to have appointments without leaving a trail of evidence. Don't get arrested in the first place and you won't have to appear in court.
