Some excellent points here. But is anyone listening? The Irish media seem more interested in TORL's grim fairy tales than the actual truth about sex work.
    2014 in Northern Ireland:

Number of reported attacks on sex workers 70

Number of sex trafficking cases ZERO

A very powerful and extremely enlightening presentation about the professionalism and inherent risks of being an escort. I say professionalism because all independent escorts make a conscience decision to be a sex worker. The same as I decided what professionalism to undertake, it is everyone's right to make up their own minds. This criminalisation will effectively rob people of their right to choose to be a sex worker/escort or not. It is a basic human right to choose what we want. I am totally against criminalisation of the selling of sex on that basis.
