    To bluntly refuse to pay just leads to a confrontation.
    Better to calmly explain the problem and let them suggest a solution.

    yes that was my take on it also. I got a small discount in the end. But it hurts when you pay and are still hungry afterwards

    lol the analogy is still there. Perhaps you should have had pineapple for dessert.

    There is a difference between not liking something, and something being bad.

    From your explanation, it looks like you made the wrong choice and didn't like what you were served, in that case , yes you should pay, but if I read your post wrong, and there was something wrong with your food, you should be entitled to either have it rectified or refunded.
