Yes seriously, no word of a lie. I got in and out of Pyongyang no problem it's actually quite a short flight from Beijing aboard a Russian made plane. Amazingly Pyongyang had the most lax airport security anywhere I'd ever been in all my travel, and the North Korean tourist visa was one of the easiest tourist visas I ever got, the hardest part of that trip was actually getting in and out of Beijing - you have to go from Beijing if you want to go there.

It wasn't all just Pyongyang either, we got to go to Kaesong, and Sariwon which are cities a good bit south of Pyongyang.

I have to go to bed now, because I like to hit the gym before work in the mornings, but PM me and I'll send on a few photos if anyone wants.

    Why so, Lucy?

Curious fact about that state, wEeD is legal, common, cheap. I can respect that.

I'm curious about lots of things really, since you ask. The level of brainwashing, the level of awareness, the ingrained need of a father figure in society. I've always thought that North Korea in some ways represents the world untouched, be that by capitalism or realism I'm not sure, I'd love to go there.

Um..no. That's not what I mean. There's a book I read a while ago, it's called Nothing to Envy. Give it a whirl.

There might be one more soon. The route to where I am (not saying where) had a section of windy country road big enough for one vehicle that was a black ice death trap despite there being barely any snow on either side of the track and it was rambling hills up and down. The weather has got colder since I got here, so I'm a tad worried about the return. I would ask for help with the route, but I'd get banned discussing it.
