    Cool Temper, temper...

In this thread you recount a time you lost your temper:

On bus from Galway to Dublin Airport. Moody looking old guy driving sluggishly. As were entering the outskirts
of Dublin, I'm concerned with the schedule. As we pass Heuston, I tell driver about my concerns.
"Timetable is just that" he says, almost getting off on it. I tell him to let me off (I'm going to hire a cab).
He refuses "gainst the rules" he replies.

Well, I fucking roars at him to "STOP THE FUCKING BUS!" which he does.

Hired a young cabess and we take the port tunnel to Terminal 2 at speed"

    nice holiday.

I can't remember the last time I lost my temper with someone, I don't take shite but I'm so laid back it's rare someone would even try to rattle me yet alone a stranger, they'd find it impossible unless they got physical with me, verbally anything said to me is like water off a ducks back..

It doesn't happen too often with me really, however back in my less sensible days, when I was younger, I remember getting extremely annoyed with another driver in front of me one evening on the road. She was speeding up, slowing down, nearly braking to a stop going around some bends, and this was on a main road, unfortunately it was busy and there wasn't any good chance to overtake.

This was back in the days when I had a sports car, with a large 3 litre straight-6 engine that was insanely loud if revved past 6000. So that's what I did, stuck the car in neutral and revved it off the limiter several few times whenever I could. She got the message after a bit, pulled in and let me and a whole line of traffic past in the end.

That was really the only outburst of road-rage I've ever had, I'm a lot more sensible and calm on the road these days. The sports car phase is well out of my system now, it's just a standard hatchback for me now.

I admit I did used to get incredibly frustrated when I used to drive a van. It feels so good when I can over take in the kind of situation you have mentioned now I have a decent vehicle that can hold it's own on the road.
