How better would the world be without any form of religion?

Maybe a more in depth exploration of the Stephen Fry phenomenon is warranted.

Stephen is a very intelligent and interesting man.
He made a brief appearance on the Ros na Rún soap too

'Put out' is putting it mindly .....

I've seen a lot of old time catholics gradully lose there faith over the last decade or so (grandparents etc), as a result of the

scandals relating to institutional abuse, child pedophilia etc. Catholicism is on a rapid decline in Ireland, statistics clearly

    demonstrate this.

Many old timers don't wish to acknowledge this which is unfortunate, as many chose to 'stick their heads in the sand' and pretend

it never happened as this is their only belief and most fear any challenges to these beliefs, however,

and thankfully a lot have taken a step back and questioned the 'philosophy of catholicism' , its true meaning in the world.

Spoofer in what regard? He is very forthright about his sexuality, his health problems, his beliefs. He is by no means perfect, but comes across as a funny, intelligent andwitty gentleman. You don't have to like him, but you can't deny his honesty. Gaybo on the other hand........... I struggle to find any redeeming features about him.

My opinions seem to be in the minority on this thread.
The meaning of life is a rather strange programme on RTE, put together to give old Gaybo a few bob since all his investments went south in the financial crash. I have never watched it and never will as I find Gaybo painfully irritating.
Stephen Fry may be honest to a degree, and somewhat witty and erudite but essentially he is narsasitic and shallow.
