    Who cares?

I personally would be happier if he told rte how he was going to fix the health service.

Too true, so many ways to make huge improvements, cut back admin more frontline, but the problem is politics, and very much greed,

It is ironic that our minister for health cannot donate blood, due to policy

Indeed, who cares? There seems to be quite a lot of media focus on him all the time, what is it because he's younger than the average age for a minister?

I'd be more happy if he, along with rest of Dáil Éireann resigned.

Why wait so long, did he not think it would be accepted in Irish Politics, I can't have the guy because of the lies he told about the banks etc but its got nothing to do with his sexuality, that's his business but the financial and healthcare side of things are ours

Only during the interview. When he left the studio he was cured. It's a miracle, praise Jesus.

If a politician spoke completely freely he'ld piss off 1 group of morons or other among the public or his own party.
He has tended to speak more openly than most Irish politicians up to now.
Any minister for health has only a finite amount of power to reform or whatever.
They are constrained by budgets, huge vested interests (eg hospital consultants) and by their own political masters.
