Nobody with as high a profile in public life as Varadker has publicly acknowledged that he/she were gay . We have had
people in sport and entertainment and journalism etc but nobody of his stature in public office . He holds one of the top
4 or 5 ministries in the country. This is not a surprise as it was already common knowledge but it is significant that he
has made a public decleration on the matter.
Blatant promotion should be outlawed
