    Let's hope no one has all their savings in Euro. Switzerland has stopped tracking it. Greece is likely to leave the eurozone after the election. Germany is printing Deutschmarks while telling everyone else to stay. The writing is on the wall and not a moment too soon

    your answer is flawed to a degree, while switzerland has stopped tracking the euro http://www.theguardian.com/business/...tzerland-franc the reason is contained within the article . (self preservation of their banking industry )
    Greece leaving the euro wouldn't necessarily mean a collapse of the eurozone .
    The "Germany printing the deuchmark again" articles all date to the height of the crisis when Ireland Spain Portugal & Greece economies were in danger , this no longer applies .
    Other opinions are allowed

    If there is no parity among members then the euro cannot be propped up for long, It was always a bad idea and that is being borne out now. I'd give it a year

    you may be right , it really has been badly thought out . i would suggest a different model euro will eventually be the long term result as the initial idea of a eurozone is still a valuable one .
