Trust in the police

I hear on the news about the gardai giving 1500 euros worth of drugs in order
to 'fit up' another man then beat the shit out of him when he couldn't appease them.
so my question is trying to assess what trust remains in this agency.

Ive had some issues with guards..good and bad but if you have a bad name your done..guards in my area are ok.let me off a good few times..tax out 10 months etc

Criminals are corrupt, that's expected. but let me assure you theres NO room for bent police.
Zero police is better than bent police!
