There's an article in today's Daily Express, the Major of Rotterdam, Ahmed Aboutaleb, a Moroccan born Muslim, told fellow Muslims that if they don't like freedom of speech to pack their bags & leave the country & that if they didn't like the fact that humorists make a paper they don't approve of, he said they could f**k off.

Somewhat disgusting that people are selling on eBay, making money from tragedy, but I suppose that's life. If the money was going to a fund for the victims that might make it less objectionable.

Obviously the e bay money won't but the magazine itself is donating profits to the families of the victims.

I did think the cartoon posted by hebdo the day after the tragedy was both sad and funny at the same time,I am on my phone now so won't search,it was a guy with a gun standing over a dead body of a cartoonist with the words "he drew first" above his head

I sort of gathered that Saul but his parsing & syntax was atrocious, so I decided to have a pop anyway. He & his ilk don't seem to realise that every democracy loving free speech for granted taking Westerner is ALREADY in their sights!

I totally agree with you, the mentality of 'sit here and keep quiet' is not exactly going to help in the situation we are in.
